The service for my import connector starts and then immediately stops

Applies To: Email Import 2.5+, File System Import

The most common reason for this behavior is the import connector is not licensed. Another common cause would be no schedules or mailboxes/folders configured and enabled.

The underlying error can be verified by checking the log file for the import connector.
